Before Verne, Colin founded a variety of startups (mostly failures with the occasional success) including a recruiting company, TV/Movie recommendation app, a software marketing company, a stretchy jean company, and a sharing economy startup. Colin currently lives in Austin with his wife, young son and baby daughter. Colin enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and wandering the city.
Before starting Verne, Brent was an Operating Partner at Builders VC where he played a hands-on role incubating early-stage companies ranging from a funeral software to office cleaning tech. Brent currently lives in Cleveland with his wife, son and daughter. He enjoys backcountry hiking, skiing and a good fire pit.
